Our staff is made up of professional actors, teachers, artists, musicians, and theatre designers.  We provide after school classes to students in the metro Boston area AND beyond.  Our classes are not audition based and our students aren't necessarily interested in the arts for their future careers. You must enjoy being with children and sharing the love of theatre arts in basic and organic ways. You should also be familiar with classroom management, positive role modeling, and strong leadership. Playing an instrument is a plus, but not a requirement. You must be willing to undergo background and CORI checks.  Most classes are anchored around theatre arts. These classes may include drama, reading, art projects, movement, music, and more! We provide you with training, the curriculum, and the supplies -- you show up and teach the class!

Long term work available for the right applicant. This is a perfect opportunity for Boston area artists to supplement their income with a reliable teaching gig. We have multiple part time teaching opportunities throughout the school year at public and private schools for PK through grade 12.  To be considered for an interview, please email a short note and resume to LiveArtsEducation@gmail.com.

Selected applicants will be invited to interview.  Part of our interview process may include observing a class so that you can identify if you are truly interested in the kind of work we do. This is a 1099 independent contractor job; this is not a full-time job.

Pay based on qualifications and experience $25-$30/hour.
